History

This is how everything began

  • The company Obering. Berg & Lukowiak GmbH was registered on December the 12th in 1988 under the no. HRB 1505 to the Commercial Registry of the Local Court of Lübbecke. The founding was conducted by the foundation partner chief engineer Alfred Berg and the radio and television master technican Joachim Lukowiak. Purpose of the company was the establishment of an EMC testing laboratory, as well as a laboratory for equipment safety tests.

  • Chief engineer Alfred Berg leaves the company, the company shares are taken over by Joachim Lukowiak.

  • In 2001 the company Obering. Berg & Lukowiak GmbH was portaged to the Commercial Registry of the Local Court of Bad Oeynhausen under the no. HRB 7569.

  • Mister Joachim Lukowiak retired from the corporation, the company shares were aquired by Mister Master Engineer (FH) Frank Huncke and Mister Christian Benthin each by 50%.

  • Within the following years the laboratory for the equipment safety, as well as the EMC were constantly upgraded. Likewise new business segments in the sectors hardware ergonomics, acoustics, environment, audio, video, photo, as well as a laboratory for testing the usability were expanded. Similarily a notified body according EMV guideline was established and organised. Furtheron we administer the work in standardisation committees and research groups. At our current headquarters in Hüllhorst within eastern Westphalia there are 40 highly motivated and friendly employees at work.
