At a time with an increasingly frequent use of electrotechnical products in the house, the office, as well as the industry like in vehicles or mobile the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) or radio applications within the scope of the RED directive a remarkably important point, which is sadly underestimated.

To ensure an unobstructed and flawless function of devices/products, the regarding as well as the compliance of these requirements (EMC/radio) are very important.

Due to the legal requirements it shall be ensured, that the devices do not disturb themselves amongst each other and can be operated accordingly, as well as the communication and the operation of radio appliances (like e.g. police or ermergency call services) is not disturbed illegally.

In this segment we provide a service for a multitude of device/product categories.

Furthermore the possibility is given for a multitude of the devices, to test thess e.g. also according the requirements outside of Europe, e.g. according FCC (US). We are recognised according to FCC Part 15 and 18.

To the features of the EMC laboratory belong:

  • Absorber chamber (SAC) 10 m or 3 m measuring distance in the frequency range up to 40 GHz
  • 2 full ferrite absorber chambers (FAC) 3 m measuring distance in the frequency range up to 6 GHz (emitted interference / interference immunity)
  • GTEM cell for development accompanying tests or modification attempts (small EUTs)
  • car emitted interference and impulse measurements (devices for the later installs)
  • Broadcast Test Center for the checking of the RED requirements for TV and radio receivers
  • Wideband Radio Communication Tester for the setup of radio connections such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM, UMTS and LTE
  • Furthermore we are equipped with modern measuring systems for the generations of phenomena according to:
    EN 61000-4-2 (electrostatic discharge/ESD)
    EN 61000-4-3 (high frequency electromagnetic fields)
    EN 61000-4-4 (fast transient electrical disturbance/Burst/EFT)
    EN 61000-4-5 (surge voltages / SURGE)
    EN 61000-4-6 (conducted disturbances, induced through high frequency fields)
    EN 61000-4-8 (magnetic fields with energy-relevant frequencies)
    EN 61000-4-11 (voltage drops, short term interruptions and volatge fluctuations)
