The Energy efficieny technically is a measure between the applied and used energy and is often stated as an efficiency factor, hence a ratio between the deployed and used energy is stated. Especially at the present time of climate change and the permanent extension of renewable energies this factor keeps getting more important.

For this there are already numerous requirements within Europe, but also in other parts of the world. The goal at this is to decrease the fundamental energy usage as low as possible.
