Consumer goods in all sectors today contain a multitude of chemicals, which serve the improvement of certain product charachteristics.

Hence the end consumer or user has to be protected from materials questionable for health reasons or prohibited materials, thus the chemical innocuousness is a topic with increasing importance.

The legislative authority has already reacted to this and created a multitude of directives, laws and regulations to protect the end consumer accordingly.

Likewise there are already prohibitions of materials, which are problematic or questionable when recycled.
